Tree Planting, Maintenance Event Scheduled in Merrillville
Happy Earth Day! If you’re interested in learning more about tree planting and tree maintenance, the Northwest Indiana Tree Planting Consortium is hosting a free event on Tuesday, May 7 in Merrillville.
The event includes an indoor session from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway. The outdoor portion of the event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Pruzin Community Park, 5750 Tyler Place.
