Storm Recovery Update (6 p.m. Aug. 14)

DAMAGE REPORTING

If you haven’t already done so, residents impacted by the Aug. 11 storm are encouraged to report their storm-related property damage by calling 211 or visiting in211.org and clicking on the “DAMAGE REPORTING” tab. This information is used to determine the needs in the community and develop the next course of action in the disaster recovery process.

TREE DEBRIS REMOVAL

Dyer Construction and Joe’s Tree Service continue collecting tree debris from neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to place their tree debris at the curb so it can be easily collected. Crews will make multiple passes through neighborhoods.

COMMUNITY CENTER CLOSED SATURDAY

The Dean and Barbara White Community Center will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 15, due to the power outage.

FOOD TRUCKS AVAILABLE

Food trucks will be in rotation from noon to 7 p.m. today (Aug. 14) through Sunday (Aug. 16) at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway.
