Veterans event scheduled at Community Center

FFS is hosting a free Veterans Benefits Workshop from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway.

This program is based on the book “TRANSITION: Soldier to Veteran,” and it is open to veterans and their families. The workshop focuses on veteran self-accountability, family involvement, education and connecting veterans with practical, functional resources to help them successfully navigate life after military service.
