North Barn closing Oct. 2

The Street Department’s North Barn will be closing for the year after Oct. 2. Merrillville residents can continue to dispose of branches and yard waste at the North Barn (5750 Tyler Street) through Oct. 2. Starting Oct. 5, residents can dispose of branches and yard waste at the Street Department (13 W. 73rd Ave.).

Only cars or pickup trucks will be permitted. No trailers of any kind will be accepted. You must show your valid Indiana driver's license, and you must have Indiana license plates.
