MIS Students Visit Town Hall

The Heart of the Region was proud to welcome members of the Merrillville Intermediate School Student Council on Tuesday as part of their visit to Town Hall and the regular Town Council meeting.

Students had the opportunity to get an inside look at how local government works, learning about town departments, services and the decision-making process that helps keep Merrillville moving forward. They also shared thoughtful questions and creative ideas with town leaders, offering a glimpse into the next generation of community leadership.
