Please have patience as crews continue moving from neighborhood to neighborhood to collect debris. The town will collect debris from all neighborhoods. To help with the process, please place your storm-related debris at the curb.
Storm recovery personnel have estimated the grind yard currently has about the same amount of trees Merrillville had after the June 11 tornado. So far, crews have been though about 65% of the town, and this is only the first pass.
