Deck the Halls: Merrillville's Holiday Home Decorating Contest Returns
As the holidays near, it’s time to deck the halls and show your creative side. The Town-wide Holiday Home Decorating Contest has returned, and if you like to brighten up the community with your festive outdoor decorations, you could win prizes and bragging rights. The registration deadline is 4 p.m. Dec. 8. Judging will take place from Dec. 11 to Dec. 20.
The first, second, and third place winners will be notified Dec. 21, and prizes will be awarded during the Dec. 26 Town Council meeting.
Prizes are as follows:
First Place — $200 gift card, trophy, and yard sign
Second Place — $150 gift card, trophy, and yard sign
Third Place — $100 gift card and yard sign
