Mission StatementThe mission of the Merrillville Economic Development Department is to assist in the creation of jobs with a focus on attracting, retaining, and expanding businesses that increase economic opportunities and improve the quality of life for Merrillville citizens.
The Town of Merrillville has always been and continues to be a diverse community. The Economic Development department partners with our communities, and other economic development entities to be the leader in creating a business-friendly atmosphere that makes it easy for companies to develop and grow.
