TOWN COUNCIL MEETING—SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA    5:30 P.M.                   

 

1.                     CALL TO ORDER:  Councilman Shudick called the meeting to order.                                                                                                                                                                           

 

11.                     ROLL CALL:  Absent from meeting: Mr. Hardaway & Mr. Widing. All others present.

 

 

111.                   PETITIONS, COMMUNICATIONS, REMONSTRATIONS:

 

              Proclamation-Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4th. To 10th, 2008.  Motion to approve by Mr. Huish,                  Mr. Pettit second it. A voice vote was made by all.  

 

1V.                    STANDING COMMITTEES

B.PUBLIC WORKS: CDBG-2007 Project Funds;Rutledge & 83rd Court Drainage Project, Bid Award is          wrong project to be discussed tonight.  Town Engineer Steve Benczik stated that the discussion    is the CURB  RAMP  PROJECT.   Handicapped  ramps that are ADA accessible & conform to       ADA requirements.  Bids taken  April 29th.  Four top bids range from 71K to 141K. Mr. Benczik          recommends the low bid of 71K from Hooks Concrete Const. Co. Grant money available is             48,979.05.   A motion to approve by Mr. Huish and second by Mr. Sylwestrowicz.  An approval    by a voice vote was  made.

All public comment is recorded on cassette tape and kept on file in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at Town Hall.
