| |
The largest and most visible division in the Merrillville Police Department is the patrol division. Officers are divided into three squads. Each squad will alternate working the day, afternoon and the midnight shift. Each squad is supervised by a Shift Commander. The Town of Merrillville is divided into four districts. Distrtict assignments are determined at roll call before each shift begins. |
