Civil Division (Small Claims) Court Sessions
Monday at 1:00 PM and Wednesday at 1:00 PM
The Merrillville Town Court was established on January 1, 1996 by a referendum vote of the residents of the town.
The first, and existing, Town Judge is the honorable George C. Paras. In the absence of the Judge, a Judge Pro-Tem is assigned. That Judge Pro-Tem is Christian Gielow.
There are two Divisions of Town Court
